Season Limousin is a Swedish single malt from Mackmyra, bottled at 46.1% in a 70cl bottle. It takes its inspiration from the French oak region of Limousin, and part of it was matured in Limousin oak casks that once held Ferrand cognac.
Older Oloroso casks were added to the blend, along with casks saturated with cherry and wild raspberry wine. Whisky matured in the cognac casks makes up 43% of the blend.
On the palate it is round, with vanilla toffee, dried fruit, sweet almonds and dark chocolate, then mild spicy oak, slightly tart grape, ginger and ripe pears.
