Maclean's Nose Blended Scotch Whisky (46%)

Maclean's Nose is a blended Scotch whisky created by the people behind Ardnamurchan Distillery and Adelphi, in honour of Charles Maclean. Malt makes up 70% of the blend, and a high share of former sherry casks gives a fruity, gently spiced character. It is bottled at 46% ABV. The label is made from barley residue left after production. On the nose come burnt citrus peel, sea salt and campfire, with nectarine syrup, lime and marmalade. The palate has puffed rice, rice pudding and white chocolate with light lemon and lime. The finish brings cream, hazelnut and chocolate, ending in burning heather and smoked chocolate.
