Lum Reek is a 21 year old peated blended malt from MacNair's. It combines smoky Islay and Speyside malts with older whisky from GlenAllachie.
The whisky matured in Oloroso sherry casks, virgin oak and red wine casks. Its peated style revives the way peated whiskies were made a hundred years ago.
The colour is butterscotch. The nose offers peat smoke with dark chocolate and fudge. On the palate come tobacco, leather and cedar wood, with waves of peat, cocoa, vanilla, honey and spice.
