Maker's 46 is a Kentucky bourbon from the Maker's Mark distillery, created by Bill Samuels Jr., son of the founders Bill and Margie. It was the first major new expression since the original Maker's Mark was launched in 1958.
The bourbon is aged for longer, with specially seared French oak staves added to the cask. It is bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is described as having subtly layered bourbon notes and a balanced complexity.
