Maker's Mark – 101 (1L, 50.5%)

Maker's Mark 101 is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 50.5%, or 101 proof, in a 1 litre bottle. The recipe uses soft red winter wheat in place of rye, which contributes to a sweet, mild and balanced character. The litre bottling goes back to a version first made for friends and family. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose offers gentle baking spices, oak and apple butter. On the palate, dried figs meet butterscotch and vanilla pod. The finish is long and robust, ending on white chocolate and dried fruit.
