Maker's Mark – 101 Proof Travelers Exclusive (1L, 50.5%)

This is Maker's Mark bottled at 101 proof, or 50.5% ABV, in a one-litre bottle. It is a stronger take on the familiar Maker's Mark bourbon and was an edition made for travellers. It is made to the distillery's original family recipe, using winter wheat in place of rye. The nose offers warm vanilla, burnt sugar and spicy oak. On the palate it is creamy, with caramel, toffee and soft winter spices, and a balance between sweetness and wood. The finish is long and round, and richer than the standard Maker's Mark thanks to the higher strength.
