Maker's Mark 46 is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 47%. It was released in 2010 as the first major new expression from Star Hill Farm since the original Maker's Mark went into production in 1953.
The bourbon is aged for longer and finished with seared French oak staves. It was the first release in the distillery's wood-finishing series, and is the work of Bill Samuels, Jr., son of the founders Bill and Margie Samuels. Subtly layered bourbon notes and balanced complexity are what define it.
