Maker's Mark – Cask Strength (70cl, 54.8%)

Maker's Mark Cask Strength is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at barrel proof, at 54.75% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The strength runs from 108 to 114 proof depending on the barrels. The vanilla and oak notes are turned up, while the front-of-palate character of Maker's Mark remains. The nose is big oak with vanilla and caramel. The palate is robust and warm, with caramel, vanilla and spice, and the long finish stays at the front of the tongue with no harsh bitterness.
