Maker's Mark – Kentucky Straight Bourbon (1L, 45%)

Maker's Mark is a Kentucky straight bourbon, here in a 1 litre bottle at 45% ABV. It is made at Star Hill Farm in Loretto, Kentucky, and the label describes it as handmade. The mash uses soft red winter wheat and no rye, which gives a soft bourbon. The nose offers fruit, vanilla, oak and wheat. The palate is soft and fruity, with a good balance of oak, vanilla and fruit, and the finish is medium in length with a spicy accent.
