Maker's Mark – Private Select for Kirsch Kentucky Bourbon (53.8%)

This is a Private Select bottling of Maker's Mark Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 53.75% ABV. It was put together from ten samples of oak staves: one Baked American Pure 2, three each of Seared French Cuvée and Maker's 46, two Roasted French Mendiant and one Toasted French Spice. With the staves hanging in the cask, the bourbon rested for nine weeks at 13°C in a cave at the Maker's Mark distillery. This exact combination will not be repeated. The taste is described as caramel, cherry lollipops, vanilla and fine spice.
