Maker's Mark – Wood Finishing Series 2021 Limited Release (75cl, 55.3%)

This is the 2021 release in the Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series, the third in the line. It is a bourbon bottled at 55.3% ABV (101.6 proof) in a 75cl bottle. The bourbon is finished in toasted American oak, which keeps the house character of Maker's Mark while building up the fruit notes and the viscosity of the whiskey. It is described as tasting the way the Maker's Mark warehouse smells: rich figs, tobacco undertones and damp wood.
