A peated Man O'Sword from the 2016 release, made at Annandale and matured in a refill ex-bourbon cask. It was bottled from Cask 1097 at 60.7% ABV.
The refill bourbon cask acts as a gentle backdrop to Annandale's smoky spirit. Tasting notes describe cooked orchard fruits, soft embers and herbal spice, with caramel sweetness, roasted hazelnuts and soft pear, all in a rich, syrupy texture.
