Manager’s Dram Talisker 17 Year Old (70cl, 55.2%)

Manager’s Dram Talisker 17 Year Old is a whisky. Aged 17 years, bottled at 55.2% ABV, 70cl. Talisker was founded by two brothers, Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill in 1830 and until 1928 practised triple distillation. The distillery was rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in November 1960, including commissioning identical stills to those that had been destroyed in the fire. In 1998 it was part of Diageo’s Classic Malts original line up and in 2014 it became the 10th best selling single malt in the world and demand keeps growing. Recent releases include Talisker Skye and Talisker Neist Point, as well as Diageo special releases. Part of of a highly sought after range of bottlings that were not sold to the general public.
