A single cask Mannochmore from Speyside, distilled in 1976 and aged for 12 years. It was bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 64.1, at 62.4% ABV in a 75cl bottle with an old-fashioned screw top.
It was the first Mannochmore the Society bottled. In the Society's numbering, the first number identifies the distillery and the second the cask. The Society was founded in Edinburgh in 1983 by Phillip 'Pip' Hills and a group of friends.
