A 12 year old Mannochmore from Speyside, bottled by James Eadie in a 70cl bottle at 46% abv. Distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2024, it is a release of 1,035 bottles, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky was matured in a first fill bourbon hogshead and a re-charred butt.
The nose has dark cherries, raisins, floral hints, vanilla and a breath of smoke over nutty malt. The palate is oily and full, with sweet syrup, dried plums, hazelnuts, creamy caramel and a fine veil of smoke. The finish is dry and intense, with nutty notes, dark fruit and a slightly bitter oak spice.
