This is a 12-year-old Mannochmore, a small batch release from the independent bottler James Eadie. It combines two casks, 6697 and 2344: a first-fill bourbon hogshead and a re-charred butt. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is freshly picked ripe peaches, wild flowers and honey. The palate is oily and complex, with stone fruits such as fresh apricots and nectarines alongside the wild flower note. The finish is aromatic.
