A 13-year-old Mannochmore single malt from Uncharted Whisky, an independent Scottish bottler founded in 2020. It was distilled in 2008, matured in a single bourbon barrel and bottled in October 2021 at 54.5% in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 308 bottles.
The nose brings pineapple, peach and passion fruit with rich sweetness, followed by soft pastry. On the palate it is complex and soft, with peach, lemon and pear drops, pepper and subtle spice mixed with oak. The finish is rich and warming, with delicate stone fruit and a hint of dried spices.
