This is a Belgian single malt from the Maredsous abbey, which lies in the Belgian Ardennes. It is made from several malt varieties and carries an organic label. It comes in a 50cl bottle at 47% ABV.
The whisky was distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2022, after maturing in bourbon casks and finishing in ex-chardonnay casks. It is a limited edition.
The palate is soft and pleasant, with hints of wood, wine and spices.
