Mars Iwai is a blended malt whisky from Mars Shinshu Distillery in Nagano, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is a rich golden colour and was aged in bourbon, sherry and American white oak casks.
The nose is light, sweet and floral, with sweet pear and dark cacao. The body is soft, with dried fig and allspice, and the soft malt finish carries hints of ginger cookies and honey milk.
