Mars Iwai 'Tradition' is a Japanese blended whisky finished in wine casks, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV.
The wine influence runs through the whisky and gives it a rich, sweet character.
The nose opens with plenty of red fruit, then honey, vanilla and milk cherry chocolate. On the palate, ginger, port and a little spice join the sweetness. The medium finish brings dried figs, milk chocolate and port.
