Mars Komagatake Limited Edition 2019 is a Japanese single malt from the Mars Shinshu distillery, which opened in 1985, closed in 1992 and was reopened in 2011. It was matured in ex-bourbon barrels and a range of other casks held at the distillery.
It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle, and the colour is dark gold.
The nose is fruity, with dried fruit and juicy orange. The palate is soft and fruity, with oats and a little oak. The finish is long, with sweet dried fruit and dark chocolate.
