Mars Maltage 'Cosmo' Blended Malt (70cl, 43%)

Cosmo is a blended malt from Mars Maltage that includes whisky from Shinshu in Japan. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle and has an amber gold colour. It was first released at the 2015 Tokyo International Bar Show, where it was well received, and it has since become a permanent part of the range. The nose opens with soft vanilla, joined by sweet red fruit such as cherry and sugary raspberry. The palate brings orange oil and chocolate, fresh barley and toasty oak. The finish is fresh plum and white grape, with cereals and chocolate biscuits.
