Mars Maltage Cosmo Wine Cask Finish is a limited blended malt whisky from Japan, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a finished version of the standard Cosmo, refined in red wine casks from the producer's own Japanese winery. Some of the malts spent more than two years in those casks.
The whisky is amber in colour and bottled without added colouring or chill-filtration. Its round honey sweetness is said to be reinforced by the wine cask finish, alongside spiced and dark fruit aromas and tannins.
