This is a single malt from Mars, distilled in 2012 and drawn from a single bourbon cask, number 1485. It was bottled at 58% ABV as one of 234 bottles, a private selection made exclusively for the Japanese retailer Shinanoya.
The whisky was aged in the stone warehouse at Mars Tsunuki distillery in Kagoshima. Mars makes its single malt under the Komagatake name, and its Shinshu distillery stands in Miyada, in Nagano Prefecture.
