This is a Japanese blended whisky from Mars, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV, released in 2016 in an edition of 6000 bottles. It was created for the Kumamoto Bartenders Project, set up by local bartenders after the Kumamoto Earthquake of April 2016 to support the region's recovery. The blend was put together in collaboration with whisky researcher Mamoru Tsuchiya, with Hombo Shuzo as a cooperating partner. It is described as having a faint peaty aroma and a soft, lingering finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
