Komagatake Rindo is a Japanese single malt from the Mars Shinshu distillery, bottled at 52% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release in the Nature of Shinshu range, in which each bottling is named after a plant that grows near the distillery.
Rindo is the Japanese word for gentian. The whisky was aged only in ex-bourbon, sherry and Japanese wine casks, and it has a distinctly aromatic character.
