The 2022 Edition from Mars Tsunuki, the distillery launched in 2016 as the second distillery of the Hombo Shuzo Group. This single malt was released in 35,800 bottles at 50%, in a 70cl bottle, and won a silver medal at the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition in 2022.
The nose offers fresh fruit, vanilla and floral notes with a little oak and spice. The palate is smooth and creamy, with caramel, sweet apple and toasted nuts. The finish is lingering, with warm vanilla and light smokiness.
