Mars Tsunuki – The First 2020 (70cl, 59%)

This is the first release from the Tsunuki distillery, a Japanese single malt from Mars. Until now the distillery had mainly been used to age whisky distilled at Mars Shinshu. The whisky was distilled in 2016 and 2017, aged for around four years and bottled in 2020 at 59% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The nose brings citrus fruits, vanilla and fresh bread. On the palate come sweeter fruits and gentle spices.
