Mars Yakushima Japanese Spring (70cl, 49%)

Mars Yakushima Japanese Spring is a Japanese whisky from Mars Whisky, bottled at 49% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. This limited Spring edition brings together the three climate zones of Japan. The packaging carries a cherry blossom design, and the whisky was matured in bourbon, sherry and port casks, with cherry wood lids on selected casks. The nose offers fresh cherry blossom, exotic fruit and a salty sea breeze. The palate is juicy and tropical, with honey, dark chocolate and fine smoke. The finish is lasting and balanced, with gentle spice and fine wood.
