A fortified Marsala from Vito Curatolo Arini, founded in 1875, made from selected grapes from the Marsala region and aged for at least ten years in oak casks. It is intense amber in colour, with aromas of dried fruit such as figs and plums, plus vanilla, tobacco and chocolate. On the palate it balances sweetness with a light bitter note and a long, persistent finish. Serve as a meditation wine or with aged cheese, pâté or dark chocolate.
