Vito Curatolo Arini Italia I.P. Dry Marsala DOC

This is a dry Marsala from Vito Curatolo Arini, a fortified wine made from grillo, catarratto and inzolia grapes. The grapes are picked by hand and fermented in steel at controlled temperature. Mistella, cooked must and wine spirit are then added to the must, which gives the wine its character on the palate. It is a distinctly amber colour. The nose is intense and enveloping, moving between dried fruit and more woody notes. The body is fine and velvety, and the palate is well balanced.
