A 10 year old Canadian straight rye, made in small batches from 100% rye grown in the Pacific Northwest. It is blended with Colorado-sourced water and bottled in Sonoma, California. It matured in new charred American white oak barrels and first appeared in 2012. The name comes from the frontier lawman William 'Bat' Masterson.
The colour is dark gold. The nose is grain-led, with sweet cereal, corn flakes, caramelised corn, tinned fruit salad and cherry lollipop, turning to heavily toasted wood. The palate is medium-light, with toast and ground grain, and finishes short and creamy with a touch of white pepper.
