A red wine from the Isonzo area, made from Merlot. It shows a moderate ruby colour, with aromas of ripe red fruit such as cherry and plum, light floral notes and gentle spicy hints. The palate is medium-bodied, with present but well-integrated tannins and acidity that supports the sip. The finish is generally soft, with discreet persistence. It suits everyday dishes such as ragù pasta, roast white meats, light stews and medium-aged cheeses. Serve around 16-18 °C and open shortly before serving.
