A Merlot Rubicone IGT from Austo with a lively ruby colour. Ripe red fruit and light plum notes mingle with sweet spice and a herbaceous hint that keeps the palate fresh. Soft but present tannins give structure without heaviness, with pleasant persistence and fruity returns. It pairs with tomato-based first courses, flavourful white meats, light roasts and semi-aged cheeses, served around 16-18 °C.
