Metaxa 5 Stars is a Greek brandy bottled at 38% in a 70cl bottle, and a classic of the Metaxa range.
It is aged for at least five years in oak casks of the kind also used for Cognac, which give it a golden colour. The recipe dates from 1888 and is finished with a secret blend of herbs that adds a gentle spiciness.
In style it is soft and aromatic, with a fruity character.
