Michel Couvreur Alba 1997 22 Year Old Single Malt Whisky (50cl, 46%)

Michel Couvreur Alba 1997 is a 22 year old single malt at 46% ABV, bottled at cask strength with no water added and no filtration. A total of 420 bottles were produced. It spent 17 years in Fino casks and a further five in Chenin casks, and has a light golden colour. The whisky has no peat expression. It is typically described as having white wine, honey and subtle oak on the nose. The palate is round, mellow and deep, and the finish brings Chenin grape, a touch of vanilla and white flower, with a long, complex aftertaste.
