This is a French blended malt from Michel Couvreur in a 150cl magnum bottle, bottled at 46%. It brings together single malts from three French distilleries, from the 2013 and 2017 vintages, and is eight years old. Maturation took place in Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Oloroso sherry casks, in the house's rock cellar in Burgundy, which runs for around 150 metres. Pedro Ximénez adds intense fruit and sweetness, while Oloroso and Amontillado bring depth and spice. Its character is described as intense fruit, gentle sweetness and elegant spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
