This is an unpeated whisky from Michel Couvreur, bottled in June 2024 at 49% in a 1.5 litre magnum. It was matured in Fino and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The malt distillate comes from Scotland and matures in the rock cellars of Burgundy. Pedro Ximénez brings fruit and sweetness, while Fino adds a drier, nutty side.
The nose is described as lovage, soft caramel and ripe apricot, with chocolate and a touch of forest honey.
