Michter's US*1 Small Batch Bourbon (70cl, 45.7%)

This is a small batch straight bourbon from Michter's, bottled at 45.7% in a 70cl bottle. It is built on a mashbill made from a selection of the best American corn, and it is often aged beyond the usual eight years. Each batch is drawn from a maximum of twenty-four casks. It is the favourite of Master Distiller Willy Pratt. The nose brings apricots, nutty notes and crushed pepper. On the palate there are more apricots, with plums, corn and fruity vanilla. The finish is well balanced, with raisins and plums.
