Midleton Very Rare Barry Crockett Legacy is an Irish pot still whiskey bottled at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is named after Barry Crockett, the celebrated second-generation Master Distiller at Midleton.
The whiskey is a selection of pot still whiskeys matured exclusively in American bourbon barrels, with a subtle contribution from a pot still distillate matured in an unseasoned American barrel.
On the nose, light pepper leads into fresh citrus, lime and mandarin orange sweetness, with a hint of cinnamon, vanilla and oak.
