Midleton – Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kilranelagh Wood Tree No. 5 (57.5%)

Midleton Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kilranelagh Wood Tree No. 5 is an Irish single pot still whiskey bottled at 57.5% ABV. It belongs to the Dair Ghaelach series, whose whiskeys are matured in barrels made from virgin Irish oak. The oak for this release came from six trees chosen on the Kilranelagh Estate by the Midleton Very Rare team, working with a forestry specialist. The casks were filled with single pot still whiskeys aged between fifteen and twenty-eight years, which had previously matured in American oak barrels.
