Midleton – Very Rare Dair Ghaelach Kylebeg Wood Tree No.2 (70cl, 56.1%)

This is the second of seven bottlings in the Midleton Kylebeg Wood series, each traceable to a single native Irish oak. It is bottled at a cask strength of 56.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The trees were felled on the Ballykilcavan estate, letting sunlight reach the floor of the old forest, where new saplings are already taking hold so that Irish oak will keep growing there. The whisky was finished in new Irish oak casks.
