Midleton – Very Rare Forêt de Tronçais

Midleton Very Rare Forêt de Tronçais is a small batch blended Irish whiskey, the first release of its kind in the Midleton Very Rare range. It combines Midleton single grain and single pot still whiskeys that were matured in American bourbon barrels between the 1980s and the 2000s. The blend was then finished for three years in a T5 cask from Taransaud Cooperage. The cask is made from oak grown in the Tronçais forest in France, which gives a fine-grained wood.
