Milk & Honey Classic is the first permanent single malt from the Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, which was established in 2014. It is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and STR red wine casks, meaning casks that have been shaved, toasted and re-charred. The bourbon wood brings the sweetness of American oak, while the wine casks add fruit and spice. It is usually described as having notes of golden honey, vanilla, fresh apple and citrus, alongside rich chocolate, warming spice and gentle oak.
