Milk & Honey Elements Heavily Peated Sherry Cask is an Israeli single malt whisky from the Milk & Honey distillery in Tel Aviv. It is made from heavily peated barley and fully matured in ex-sherry casks seasoned for the distillery in Jerez. Bottled without chill filtration at 46% ABV, it combines peat smoke with sherry cask richness.
The nose brings campfire smoke, iodine, dark raisin, dried fig and bittersweet dark chocolate, with stewed plums and toasted oak beneath. The palate is rich and oily, with peat smoke, dark cherry compote, walnut, cinnamon, clove and a briny mineral note. The finish is long, with ashy smoke, espresso bitterness and dried fruit.
