Milk & Honey – Elements Series Peated Cask (70cl, 46%)

Milk & Honey Elements Series Peated Cask is a single malt from the Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv. The Elements Series looks at how cask choice shapes flavour. Here the whisky was aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Islay whisky casks, and the Islay casks give it a subtle smokiness. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The nose offers vanilla, honey and a light smoky note. The palate mixes citrus, vanilla, ginger and a savoury peat note, and the finish lingers with toasty spices and a touch of peaty dryness.
