Milk & Honey – Elements Series Sherry Cask

This is an Israeli single malt from the Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, part of its Elements Series. It is described as the first single malt whisky matured in Kosher sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. The whisky was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which pairs the sweetness of American oak with the depth of Spanish sherry. It shows ripe red fruits, dried fruit, dark chocolate, sweet malt and gentle oak spice, with subtle hints of tobacco. The finish is lingering and gently spiced.
