This is a 10 year old Dutch single malt from Zuidam Distillers, sold under the Millstone name. It was matured in Oloroso sherry casks and is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The sherry casks give it a rich, spicy character.
The nose is of dried fruit, raisins and plums, with spice, dark wood and a little chocolate. The palate is full and rich, with dried fruit, raisins, caramel and dark chocolate, plus spicy oak, and the Oloroso stays clearly present. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit, spice, chocolate and oak.
