Millstone Special #32 is a Dutch rye whisky from Zuidam, matured for 19 years in new American oak. It was distilled on 11 January 2005 and bottled on 15 May 2024 from Virgin American oak cask 694, a single cask release that gave 169 bottles.
It comes at a cask strength of 51.49%, in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The nose is fresh rye with a hint of caramel and spice. The palate is full-bodied, with spicy rye, sweet vanilla and a light nutty note. The finish is long and warm, with oak and a touch of chocolate.
