Millstone 92 is a Dutch single rye whisky from Zuidam Distillers in Baarle-Nassau. It was distilled on 15 May 2016 and bottled on 18 February 2020 at 46%, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The mash is 51% unmalted and 49% malted rye, distilled in small copper pot stills. The spirit then matured for at least 36 months in new American oak casks.
The nose is bright citrus, clove and white pepper, with creamy honey and vanilla. The palate is fruity and full, with honey sweetness, cinnamon, cardamom, white pepper, vanilla ice cream and oak spice. The finish is long and lively, with juicy fruit, honey, pepper, vanilla and oak.
